Manufacturing aspect of our business is undertaken by our manufacturing arm, Perniagaan Laborglas Technik. Among the products we manufacture are as follows:

As the pioneer in commercial scientific glassblowing in Malaysia we have since established ourselves as the leader in this profession after two decades of burgeoning existence. Our team of highly experienced glassblowers has been competently offering consultancy services on, and the subsequent fabrication of, special laboratory glassware for research and development purposes.

Since our inception, striving to reach the pinnacle in their craft has been the professional attitude of our glassblowers with the objective of providing better services and products to the scientific fraternity. This is in line with the aspiration of our founder and managing director, Tee Ka Siew, who himself is an accomplished scientific glassblower, having been trained in this trade by a company called James A. Jabbling in Sunderland, England, back in 1971.

Our glassware are made from the internationally standardized type of borosilicate glass 3.3 (DIN ISO 3528). Its outstanding properties such as extreme thermal resistance, high resistance to thermal shock, mechanical strength and chemical resistance make the perfect choice in meeting the highest demands in laboratory practice.

In our factory, Borosilicate glass 3.3 are turned out to be laboratory glassware of exceptionally quality in the skillful hands of our glassblowers with the help of the state-of-the-art precision glass-working machines from Germany.

To expand our manufacturing capacity, a plant was set up in China in 2003 employing 30 people to make interchangeable laboratory glassware and glass-based scientific apparatus. Plans are afoot to produce other laboratory equipment in our China manufacturing facility which occupies an area of 42,500 sq. ft. with a built-up area of 13,600 sq. ft.
